Teaching, Leading, and Coaching

As a member of the TEACHING, LEADING, AND COACHING PROGRAM you can expect

• $2,500 scholarship per year for those who are eligible.
• Annual conference opportunities with an opportunity to present in final year.

• Preparation for graduate program.
• An accelerated master’s opportunity: Entry into master's program during senior year at no extra cost; up to 12 hours available with senior status.

TLC Scholarship Requirements

At entry:

• 2.75 GPA 
• Preferred ACT of 22+ OR
• CASE Assessment scores: Reading 150+, Writing 158+, Math 144+
• Application describing rationale for entering the teaching field and what they hope to gain from the program.
• Contact information for a reference (coach or faculty member) who would be willing to speak to us on your behalf regarding your potential in meeting the goals of the program.                                                                                                  

Sustaining:                                                                                                                         

• A GPA of 2.75 must be maintained throughout program.
• No dispositional infractions throughout program.
• Planning of and participation in TLC events

Along with offering valuable professional experiences and personal growth opportunities, an additional scholarship of $1,000 per year will be awarded to eligible TLC scholars! Please note that some students who are receiving other special scholarships (such as Legacy & Legends or Athletics) may not be eligible to receive this additional scholarship.
